I have a Nikon Coolpix Camera, and I just tried to plug it into my macbook computer, but I can't find it. There's no icon that I can click on to open up the file for downloading my pictures. Did you install the software/drivers that came with your camera? I have many Nikon products and they typically only work with their proprietary software. One of the flaws of Nikon.
